About Ryan W Woodard
Ryan W Woodard has an MFA in Creative Writing from Randolph College in Virginia and 17 years of writing experience. He has an extensive background in content writing, editing, content analysis/strategy, and team leadership. During his award-winning journalism career, he wrote for South Dakota’s second-largest newspaper, the Rapid City Journal, and other South Dakota newspapers including The Brookings Register, Moody County Enterprise, and the Black Hills Pioneer. His work has been featured by the National Library of Congress and various blogs and business websites around the US.
During his career as a marketing and writing professional, he has interviewed National Book Award-winning authors, coordinated statewide media events and most recently co-created and produced 85 episodes of an innovative discussion program during the pandemic featuring high-profile authors and academics attended by 900+ people. He uses his expertise in email marketing, search engine optimization, social media management, and writing to help businesses and non-profit organizations boost brand awareness, acquire leads, build mailing lists, and much more.
He lives in Sioux Falls with his dog Elaine and is working on a novel about a troubled grunge musician from the 1990s.
